Dear Editor,
I want to share my opinion on encouragement from others.
Living in the real-life, we always face many problems or challenges. Besides insisting on, encouragement from others is also important.
For example, in a long-distance race, athletes should feel greatly tired. It is needed a huge effort to finish. Only leaning on will is essential, but support from neighbor must not be lacked. “Go ahead”, merely a sentence can power a person. It is not only a reminding, but also motive force.
However, you sometimes see some teachers would lecture the students before or after the race. I don’t really agree with this way as it gives too heavy pressure to students. Also, it seemed they don’t trust the students. What will you feel if no one says an encouraging word to you? I should feel alone and all on one’s own.
Encouragement isn’t difficult to be said, but for an accepter, it has a great meaning.
Yours faithfully,
Winnie So
